Ulefos som arbejdsgiver

Vores medarbejdere sørger for udvikling, produktion og rådgivning af løsninger til en af vores mest samfundskritiske infrastrukturer, vand og spildevand

Størstedelen af de løsninger vi leverer, er ikke synlige for de fleste mennesker, da mange af dem er gravet ned i jorden eller sat i en brønd. Men vores brøndgodsprodukter, som dæksler, riste og andre afvandingsløsninger er synlige, og er en naturlig del af hverdagen for os alle. Det samme er vores landskabsarkitektur, som skaber gode mødesteder i parker, byrum, på kirkegårde og hvor folk ellers færdes til dagligt.

For at levere de bedste produkter og en professionel service, er vi afhængige af medarbejdernes holdning, faglige dygtighed og vilje til at løse kundens udfordringer.

I Danmark har vi 11 ansatte, hvor 9 af dem er tilknyttet vores kontor og lager i Hvidovre, og 2 sælgere med hver deres lokation i Jylland. Som en del af en nordisk gruppe med over 300 ansatte i 4 lande er der mange spændende karrieremuligheder.

Alexander Swerin

Title: Warehouse Manager, Sweden
Department: Warehouse
Country: Sweden 

What do you work with / tasks / areas of responsibility? 
Inbound deliveries, Outdoor deliveries, purchase of stock materials. Overall responsibility for the warehouse working and that we get our shipments off on time.

What tools do you use in your work, for example ERP systems, software: 
IFS, Unifaun. Counterbalance Forklift Truck.

Daily challenges? 
To set up today’s work so that we have time to deliver everything on time. At the same time, we must receive all deliveries and also keep our warehouse clean.

For how long have you worked here?
I have worked here for 8 years

Why did you choose to work for Ulefos? 
I worked for 10 years in a mechanical workshop, got tired of it and wanted to do something else. Ulefos felt like a good employer with good employees.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 
That they have taken advantage of my desire to develop within the company.

Jussi Ahlgren

Title: Logistics Manager
Department: Logistics & Supply Chain
Country: Finland 

What do you work with / tasks / areas of responsibility? 
My responsibilities include; transportation management, warehouse management, internal logistics management, external logistics management, internal supply chain management, production planning with production manager, transportation reclamations, purchasing, B2B-sales coordinating and development projects.

What tools do you use in your work, for example ERP systems, software: 
I mainly operate within our ERP system IFS. In order to secure the best possible delivery solutions for our customers I also operate in multiple different external interfaces.

Daily challenges? 
Matrix management. My job requires to have a good overall view of all operations. Also, multiple ongoing development projects are functioning in matrix.

For how long have you worked here? 
I have been working in the company for 7 months now.

Why did you choose to work for Ulefos? 
I have always appreciated trustworthy and traditional brands. Ulefos is a great employer and the team spirit is truly world-class!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 
In 5 years I still see myself working for Ulefos and hopefully been able to modernize a few operations

Nick Nygaard Petersen

Title: Sales Consultant

What do you work with / tasks / areas of responsibility? 
My sales area is Zealand and the islands around, including Bornholm. I’m working on the sale in all of our products; manhole covers, Filcoten channels, traded products and Ulefos Esco products. 

What tools do you use in your work, for example ERP systems, software: 
Mainly I use IFS for orders and offers, but I also use a program called Byggefakta/Faktalive. It’s a program, where we in the sales organization can screen for projects that focus on sustainability and we’ll have an advantage during our production in Ulefos and with the Filcoten channels. 

Daily challenges? 
Of course the daily price war on bigger projects is in the center, and in general the big focus on prices in Denmark. 

For how long have you worked here? 
I have worked in Ulefos for almost 3 years now. 

Why did you choose to work for Ulefos? 
I chose it because, I would like to work for a supplier. Next thing was I had a good relationship with Ulefos due to my role at a wholesaler in Denmark.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 
I still see myself in Ulefos where I hopefully will have helped to convince our industry in Denmark that building green, and using sustainable products is the only and right way to build.

Heidi Nyheim

Title: QHSE Manager
Department: Ulefos Jernværk
Country: Norway

What do you work with / tasks / areas of responsibility? 
My area of ​​responsibility is quality and Health, Safety and Environment. I Ensure that products delivered from Ulefos are of the right quality, and that the products are in accordance with EN-124-2. I also make sure that the company follows all the points according to ISO 9001 and 14001.

What tools do you use in your work, for example ERP systems, software: 
I mainly operate in TQM and IFS.

Daily challenges? 
Follow-up in production and the laboratory, to ensure that our products at all times comply with the requirements set by customer and standard. High focus on safety among our employees.

For how long have you worked here? 
I have worked in Ulefos for 41 years. 

Why did you choose to work for Ulefos? 
It’s not easy to say, but what has made me continue to work here are good work colleagues and a good work environment.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 
Then I might be looking forward to retirement age.
